I've come across some work from Nickerson before but didn't think to look further into his work.
Upon seeing his work for the project, 'Your ideas suck' I went and looked further into his designs,
Firstly his stuff for the said project...
Not really fussed on the images / illustrations more focused on the type.
Proper like the clean, 3D, fun design with the type, something I intend to do with some of my own work this year.
Good example of taking general designs to other forms, here the forms being digital to print - t shirts.
Nice. Similar stuff to 'Your ideas suck'. Wallpaper style holds a lot of potential, taking it to Iphone / Ipads etc. Colour scheme is also pretty sweet here.
Below - Showing some variety within his work, really interesting pieces. Again personal work, using image & type as image together. Like the idea, and think at times looks sick, but the type in parts is quite illegible. Nice.
From going through his work found these designs for boards, thought it was quite relevant considering my boarding brief. Large range of designs, some obviously being part of a set and others not.
