DVD Packaging

Book, Designer's Packaging Bible, Creative Solutions For Outstanding Design.

Has a section for CD's & DVD's, some really nice unique designs shows different styles, stocks, sizes etc.

This packaging taking the form of a gate fold, quite a nice idea for the packaging itself, lightweight and friendly- easy to open. What i really like about it is the design on the package, a bright and eye-catching intricate geometric pattern. However this isn’t relevant to my packaging as it will be using type and not image.

This showing a different form of packaging for a dvd, instead of a regular case the dvd comes in a box, with the dvd appearing to be a vinyl, ideas for printing onto the disk possibly?

This caught my eye as my packaging will be type based, and this is obv the same. An idea for composition, however my packaging will not hold as much information as this, furthermore i want mine to be clear and concise wheras this is very busy.

Sleeves, i like sleeves. I really quite like this example, a plain sleeve cover with a die-cut forming the colour and details of the product, simple and effect, minimal this kind of style is what i want to achieve.
