MTA Records / Artists

Chase & Status
Album / single covers

This is the cover for their album, More Than Alot, which they have taken for their labels name. Really fond of the block typeface, bold and heavy in weight yet still easy to read, really like the construction of the 'a' something bit different, this probably being a conscious decision by the designer as the letter appears more than once, one of them being in a central position.
Why not use this typeface for their label logo?

The above are designs for EP Vinyl / CD covers, all sharing the same style, quite old school console game looking, think its leaning towards a more stereotypical image of this music scene, dirty, grimey, street art inspired graphics. Something i want to move away from.

Here just showing the product as a range, how the same design works over two different formats, the square cd / vinyl cover and the cd / vinyl itself, something that i will be doing myself as i progress.
