Movie Season / RESEARCH

Kinetic Typography

Seeing as my videos will be focusing on quotes from the films accompanied by audio, they will essentially be kinetic typography. From the past brief i have already looked slightly into kinetic type, but here are some more examples of some really good kinetic type...

What i like about this example is the border within the actual screen, obviously there to make it appear to be a television screen. But it works well to keep the text within a readable area centering focus and what not.

This video shows a good use of relevant typography, stencil army font for a army/soldier based film, what i also like and feel works well with this is the kind of simple imagery used to illustrate some words/actions. Take note.

The first bit if this video is awesome, the warning sign thing, being pretty complicated swirling and rotating shows the kind of thing i could create if necessary to my subject which at the moment i cant see a need for.

Theres one little thing that i like about this is the shadow around the frame of the screen, i think this could enhance my animations to give them a bit more depth and feel.
